Fundamentals of Business Travel Management - previously Corporate Travel Expert (CTE)
This course is at the Associate Level Certification and is designed to foster the professional development of those in the early years of their travel management careers. The Associate Level Certificate courses form the cornerstone of knowledge in how to be successful in your career.

This one and a half day course is GBTA’s starter course focusing on the basics of business travel management and is designed as a guide to the primary components of managed travel.

Recommended for assistant and coordinator positions or for those new to travel management, you will learn the key elements of a managed business travel programme and see how these elements intersect with the core competencies necessary in the industry. Topics include components of travel management, managing supplier relationships, safety and security, travel technology basics and measuring success.
